tired and crps

good morning! i am extremely tired this morning. have been all week. just need an entire day to sleep and catch up, but there's never time! i'm so desperately yearning for a snow day!

things are overwhelming this week. i feel like life is just flying by. and i can't do anything but try to hang on! you know that feeling? like your schedule is just whipping you around and you are just hanging on the back?

many of you know, but i haven't posted a formal blog yet on the possible crps diagnosis. (complex regional pain syndrome). the rheumatologist mentioned it for the first time on wednesday during our appointment (it's also known as reflex sympathetic dystrophy). check it out... do some research on it. it's interesting. and i match almost every single symptom. i have to keep an eye on a few things, and then call him back if anything changes. lets just say, i have to call him back. my hip is tingly all the time, it's colder than my left hip, it's a red-blotchy color, and it's waking me up about 7 times a night. so we'll see what he thinks. i'll post more later...

love to you all!

sacrum

so... today was fun. i had physical therapy this morning, and my therapist noticed that my pelvis was a little out of line. so... she dislocated it (intentionally)... rearranged it, and then snapped it all back in. one of the most painful experiences i've ever had...the noises my pelvis made, the pain... it was miserable. but other than that, i was okay... then came around 1:00. i was at school, and dropped my pen, and bent over to get it, and i got "stuck" . a huge crack, then i bent upward, another huge crack, and then severe pain began radiating from my lower back and pelvis region, all the way down both legs to my knees, and then up to my mid-stomach region. it was some of the most intense pain i've ever felt. i knew something was wrong. we called my physical therapist, and she had an idea of what was causing it, and had me come over. so...my sacrum got caught to my right side. visibly caught. she showed me, and you could just see my sacrum, at a 45 degree angle, when it was supposed to be straight downward. uhh! it was horrible. she grabbed it, snapped it back in place, and so far i've been much better... but whadda day! a very very painful day. still in lots of pain, but doing much better.
